The last number of days have in large part been spent cataloguing and describing a rather extensive and choice collection assembled by a discerning collector.  The focus of that particular collector was Portugal and her Colonies as well as Latin America.  In addition to the seldom seen better items from those areas we have also added some Interesting British Empire material to our inventory in the form of the Leeward Islands, Fiji, and Officials from South Australia.  Busy as we were we still found time to add some items from Canada and Newfoundland with mint and neatly cancelled used items coming to light.  Also, it seems the heat is still on for the area of China where stamps from the People’s Republic of China, the Republic of China, Hong Kong as well as Macao, the latter courtesy of our discerning Portuguese area collector, have all been added.  Lastly, for those with a penchant for the odd and curious, we have added a few sets from Tannu Tuva.
