1945 Five piastres postal tax (for national defense) stamp, a F-VF stamp with type B surcharge in red with arabic postmark. This stamp has a catalogue value of U.S.$22.50 which means it is probably quite scarce. We can't think of any customer who collects used Syria after 1940. Can we find someone on the internet? If so, we have a special price for this item at less than one-third of catalogue.
