NAURU 13 NH

Today's feature is an early stamp of Nauru. The two shilling six pence value of Great Britain were printed by three firms and two of these (de la Rue and Bradbury-Wilkinson) were used to overprint the stamp with the name of Nauru. This stamp has deep, fresh colour (yellow brown) is fresh and never hinged and was printed by de la Rue. Scott #13, S.G. #20.
