CANADA #176 50¢ GRAND PRE
Here's quite an unusual item. It is quite a nice 1930 Fifty cent Grand Pr, well centered with full orignal gum which has been hinged. However, before it was hinged a postmark was applied reading Sherbrooks Sub Office NO.4 NOV 2, 1932 on the gummed side. Was this the start of a new trend in "used" stamps where you can get to see the whole design when turned face-up? We don't have the answer-does anyone have another guess? In any event you can buy this for CDN $100 or US $68. DF28 CDN$100 | ||
