ECUADOR O203 AIRMAIL ESSAY
The 30 centavos greenish-blue 1947 Official stamp was overprinted in blue with a plane and the words "Primero la Patrial/ Servicio Interno" and in red with the word "Aereo". Scott footnotes the first overprint in blue, but doesn't mention the additional Aereo overprint with the notes "are said to be essays" In this block of four the lower two stamps are missing the exclamation mark after "Patria" unusual and undoubtable scarce.
