POLAND 1921 AIRMAIL

In 1921 the Polish firm Tadeusz Bronislaw Mikolajczyk printed 50.000 sets of airmail stamps for a projected private airmail flight. We purchased these from an estate collection. The collector had died in 1927 so these have been hidden away for at least 73 years. They are listed in the Michel catalogue with a price of 70DM (about $50 CDN), and both have original gum but are hinged.
