JUBILEE PLATE STRIP

The six cent Jubilee has always been sought after because of its low printing. Most were sold as parts of sets becuase the Post Office did not allow customers to buy the half cent or the six cent value without buying all the values from half cent to the fifty cent; thus in order to buy this strip of three, a customer would have to buy all the values in strips of three or larger. This strip has 2 very fine and one F-VF stamp ( total catalogue value as three singles is $825 by Unitrade, US $540 by Scott). This strip has mildly disturbed gum and hinged re-enforcement. The stamps are fresh with deep rich colour. A lovely Exhibition piece. We offer this scarce plate strip for $495 CDN, $325 US.
