5¢ PREXY, CRASH COVER, CANADIAN MILITARY

This letter was franked with the Five cent Presidential Issue and addressed to lt. Col. E.E. Botterell serving overseas. It arrived at Field Post Office 825 on December 15 was redirected and arrived at F.P.O 247 (?) on January 18 from where irt was once again redirected arriving at Ottawa MPO 318 on March 12 and from there to RCAMC Toronto where it was redirected to the Christie St. Hospital. Along it's route it was involved in an air crash. A fabulous way to show a single Five cent Presidential rate and a very good Canadian military cover.
