SPANISH ANDORRA RARE 1875 COMPLETE SET NH

In 1875 the Spanish Government prepared this set of twelve stamps featuring the Coat of Arms and ranging in value from 10 centavos to 10 pesetas. Although officially sanctioned by Spain, there was a dispute with France and as a result they were not put into use. As official forerunners they belong in every Andorra collection. These are almost never seen in collections, dealer's stock or in auction. Typical retail in Europe is about $50 per set when available and what is offered is never well-centered and often with faults.
