The Ides of March present glad tidings, this time round. We have diligently added copious quantities of better Canadian material, both used and mint. Perforated Officials, the likes of which do not come up often, have been added, handsome blocks of four as well as revenues. Some tough Newfoundland material makes its way into inventory as well. There are newly added items worth exploring from the British Empire and Commonwealth with a concentration in North Borneo, British Offices Abroad and Egypt. A more difficult area to collect in which we have added a very respectable amount of better material is East Asia, including South Korea but more especially the People’s Republic of China.

Concluding this short month, we may report a goodly number of significant additions to our inventory. Better used Canada, including Admirals, Large Queens and Small Queens and the like make their way into inventory. For the connoisseur of high quality Canada in mint, we have added many stamps before 1935 which are mint never hinged Very Fine. British Empire is always popular among our customers and we have added stamps from North Borneo, Sarawak, South Africa and Southern Rhodesia, mostly used. Among these stamps are sets, some which catalogue in the few hundred range. For the wider world we have added interesting items from a country which seems to be gaining in popularity, namely, Brazil.
At about the mid-month mark we may report a number of interesting additions to our inventory. Starting with Canada we have added mint Admirals with lathework and ‘R’ guage, Also, better used items with cds. postmarks as well as VFNH material have been added. Unusual cinderellas and pre-cancels for the collectors of material more off the beaten path make their appearance. Small Queen covers have been added also. For the collector of British Empire we should mention better singles and sets from all over British Africa as well as India and St. Helena.
